Moments: Gary Oldman with Arik Korman

Gary Oldman: A wonderful friend and fabulous human, Arik Korman was the executive producer with The Bob Rivers Show.  As part of his ever expanding range of talents, Arik set up ongoing interviews with people known to be interesting: celebrities, authors, scientists... people who had accomplished "something" that was noteworthy.

We were able to sit in on one of the interviews with none other than the vastly talented actor, Gary Oldman: (Darkest Hour, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, 5th Element, Darkest Hour, Harry Potter/Sirius Black, The Dark Knight Rises & Batman Begins/Commissioner Gordon, Dracula, and many other titles)

Quite kind and gentlemanly, Gary offered us tea when we met at his hotel room for the interview.  At the time, Arik was learning to play bass guitar, and Gary had sage advice for this, in addition to his various replies to Arik's thoughtful questions.  It was interesting just seeing how many different facial expressions he had, in such a short time.  We had had 15 minutes scheduled, but Gary extended that out to about 1/2 hour with us.
